Our Name.
The development studio’s name, Et Al., Latin for and others, was deliberately chosen to reflect the important, non-singular attributes that play out in development. A developer needs others and their talents to bring her vision to life. A development project’s impact is felt by others, including, but not limited to the larger community, not just the immediate users. These attributes are why it is so crucial to develop high integrity relationships within a development team and to create a product that is mindful of its impact on multiple levels. This is the environment and work Et Al. Development Studio strives for.
Our Story.
Educated at University College London in the United Kingdom Aubrie, Founder and Lead Principal of Et Al., learned the importance of evaluating a project's success beyond just its financial feasibility. A successful project to her is one that meets a need in the community, benefits and enhances the lives of those within and outside the building's walls and is responsive to the climate realities we live in. After working for 8 years in the development sector she found many developments falling short of these success metrics. The noticeable lack of women owned and led development companies also became apparent. Aubrie created Et Al. in 2021 to set a new standard for development and raise the visibility of women in real estate development.
