The Sound on 76th* provides affordable homes for 70 families in the highly walkable Southdale area of Edina, Minnesota. This location was carefully chosen to ensure that those who chose to make this building home had easy access to all the amenities they needed on a daily basis, with or without a car, ensuring a truly affordable living experience.

Project Highlights:

Artwork from the previous site's use as sound studio was incorporated into the new development project. New artwork from the same artist was also commissioned for the space.

Opportunities to improve resident wellness, including incorporating a non-media, biophilia focused common room into the project, were explored.
